The new cd
has got some important novelties compared to
previous works: first, LEF has created a new
language to express himself freely, and the
title Sen Soj TrumàS means "sense
organ's substitution". This language has
characteristics that can remind Greek, German,
Balkan's languages, even Japanese. In the cdrom
and the site web are available the Italian and
English translations. Then the great presence
of guests, not only famous like Giovanni
Lindo Ferretti (well-known in Italy)
who sings in Mantra, or Eraldo Bernocchi
who recorded a remix included in the cdrom),
but also many others who gave an important contribution,
for example the ex-singer of the band, Paola
Valandro, Eliseo Scarpa (Serial thc), Raffaele
Pinelli (who plays diatonic accordion in "Craud"),
and other people from the "Bottega di musica
e comunicazione di Bologna", founded by
Ferretti, who participated in the choirs.
Musically the band continues in the direction
characterized by an allergy to genres, a free
crossover, suitable for broad-minded people.
Compared with the past there are more post-rock
sonorities (in "Spoony Geeza" &
"Mantra"), but also noise ("A
crime memoir") or with jazz and ethnic
atmospheres. The lasts are evident in songs
like "Multìs", "Craud"
and "Mavra (sal a ruè)".
The artwork has been completely conceived and
looked after by Cinzia La Fauci (Snowdonia).
